Conservative…I believe in smaller government, lower taxes, and The Constitution…I am a pro-life, pro-gun, capitalist…I am an avid listener but not a blind follower of Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity…I believe that freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion, environmentalism is overblown poppycock, animals are wonderful but some of them were put on Earth for us to shoot and eat, marriage should be between one man and one woman, immigrants are welcome in this nation only if they do things the right & legal
way, and political correctness is ruining America

Dog lover…I am the proud “Daddy” to a pug named Rocco who is my best little buddy

Eclectic in many ways, from my taste in music to my clothing style to my sense of humor and many
other facets of my complex personality

Grew up partly in the 70’s, mostly in the 80’s, and then entered adulthood thru the prism of the 90’s…these different eras and my exposure to them have colored my perspective of the world in a uniquely personal way

Honesty truly is a lonely word, but integrity…my word and the good reputation of my family…
is important to me

Nocturnal…I work midnight shifts and have always been a night owl…I feel most energetic and
creative late at night

Opinionated, as any reader of The Manofesto will quickly find out…but I am respectful of others’ opinions so long they have some basis in intelligent and thoughtful contemplation…stupidity annoys me tremendously

Paraplegic…born with spina bifida…my disability does not define me but is an undeniable part of me

Quiet, even though the things you read may make that difficult to imagine

Reliable…I may not always be the smartest or the most talented person in the room, but I will be there on time, do what I say I am going to do to the best of my ability, put in an honest effort, and be someone you can count on whether it be as a friend, co-worker, laborer in the church, or whatever the case may be…I expect the same out of others but am all too often disappointed

Sports nut…I am a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Penguins, West Virginia Mountaineers, and of course my alma mater’s Thundering Herd. I actually love to watch golf on television and have become a fan of Phil Mickelson…can’t really get into soccer, tennis, or boxing…the NBA is okay though I don’t really have a favorite team, and hockey has grown on me the last few years…I am an avid follower of Nascar and cheer for Tony Stewart and whomever defeats pretty boys like Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon (I grew up loving Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt…wanted to root  Dale Jr. but he sold out and hasn’t really lived up to the hype anyway)

Technologically challenged…if it needs hooked up, torn apart, or repaired there are people for that, and I will gladly compensate them for their time and skill…I laugh at people who ask me, quite seriously, if I am “into computers” – I know how to turn one on and surf The Net and that’s pretty much it

Unattached and finally at peace with the likelihood that things are unlikely to ever change

X-Y-Z…Oh come on – who could come up with anything good with these three letters?? I’m not too zealous or all that zany. I don’t yodel and yellow isn’t my favorite color. I don’t play the xylophone and I’m not a xenophobe. I have had x-rays…but really, who cares?? I know who Yasmine Bleeth is, but she is pretty irrelevant. My name is Sam, but it’s not preceded by Yosemite. I’ve never been to a zoo or taken a Xanax.
